The first production of porcelain in Worcester took place in 1751.An eminent surgeon, Dr John Wall, perfected the secret recipe for the production of soft paste porcelain and a factory was founded on the banks of the river Severn.

These designs are beautifully contrasted against a luminescent white background and striking gold trim - the result is an eye-catching pattern that’s sure to draw compliments from every guest!

In 1788 George III, following a visit to the company, granted it a royal warrant, and it became known as the "Royal Porcelain Works".
